What's In Your iPod?

Music is a powerful tool. It has the ability to lift, comfort, empathise and motivate.

Like many, my music collection is a window into my soul. The tunes I listen to reflect my mood at any given time.

Here are the highlights of the ‘Top 25 played’ in my iPod at the moment:

  1. Bring Me To Life – Evanescence
  2. Snow Patrol – Chasing Cars
  3. Keane – Bend and Break
  4. The Last Republic – As Darkness Falls
  5. In the End – Linkin Park
  6. Turn Turn Turn – The Byrds
  7. Black Eyed Peas – Where is the Love
  8. Supermassive Black Hole – Muse
  9. Chinsagu No Hana Elizabeth Drake from Japanese Story
  10. Bad Things – Jace Everett

Would love to hear some of yours…

  1. I’ve always said, if there’s one thing I couldn’t do without, it would be music.
Judging by your top 25, I’d say we have very similar taste. 🙂 Here is a brief list of mine.

Black eyed peas – The Time
Linken Park -Leave out all the rest
Snow patrol -set fire to the third bar
    Muse – Supermassive Black Hole
3 Doors Down – Here without you
    The Script -Nothing without you.
And a lot more Muse and a lot more Snow Patrol :))

    Glad I could share

  2. Oh my, I have been an audiophile for, well since the Beatles were playing live in Shea Stadium. My list is wayyyyyyyy to long for here but let me list the groups I am currently re-visiting.

    Meat Loaf
    Steppenwolf (a great Canadian band)
    Anything by Ozzie Ozbourne
    The Who

I may live in the past a bit looking back on the list, I also try to listen to new stuff, but have a hard time finding something as good as the old days.
Great post and a great list, I will check some of them out.

  3. You’ll love Steppenwolf. I also have Aerosmith, The Byrds, Simply Red, Smokey Joe’s Cafe by The Robins, Lynard Skynard and Lyle Lovett. Also, try Somewhere over the Rainbow by Eva Cassidy. It’s beautiful and haunting.
