Top 10 Holiday Tunes

Whether snaking around lush country roads, travelling through tree lined lanes where the branches meet to form a natural tunnel, or reaching the mountain peak and feeling on top of the world – there is no doubt that the holiday driving experience is vastly improved by good music.  Here are our 2012 top family favourites, courtesy of the beloved iPod:

1. Mr Rock and Roll – Amy MacDonald

2. Bring Me to Life – Evanescence

3. Forever Young – Alphaville

4. Chances – Athlete

5. Many of Horror – Biffy Clyro

6. Call Me Maybe – Carly Rae Jepson

7. Eyes on Fire – Blue Foundation

8. Monkey Man – Amy Winehouse

9. She Will Be Loved – Maroon 5

10. Voyage Voyage – Desireless (our all time cheesy holiday fave)

I’d love to hear some of yours.

  1. Evanescence. I’ve not heard them for a long time! I absolutely love Maroon 5 – particularly if I’m also watching them on a video 🙂

I tend to have the radio on when I’m travelling. There is a mixture of music and with a car full of different styles choices we can never agree on a disc to play anyway!

    • Hi Rebecca! Yes, Maroon 5 are Fab. My daughter loves Evanescence at the mo. I know what you mean about the radio. We did try it in France – results were hilarious:)
