June is National Crime Reading Month

National Crime Reading Month is an initiative introduced by the Crime Writers Association (CWA) to promote the crime genre, both fiction and non-fiction. During the month of June 2014 authors, new and old, will be engaged in a series of local and national events to celebrate the world of murder and mayhem.

I recently joined the CWA and am delighted to be included in the following events this year:

14th June – Kibworth Bookshop 2-4pm (details to be confirmed)

18th June – Desborough Library 7-8.30pm   – Joint event with fellow author, Glyn Timmins, where we read from our latest work, talk about our writing journey, do a Q&A and sign books. (Advance tickets only, available from the library.)

I will also be sitting on the crime writing panel at the following literary festival:

28th June – Beaconlit, Ivanhoe, Bucks (You can view the trailer for this event here.)

Do join me at any of these events if you are able. They should be fun.

If you want to check out events in your area, check out the National Crime Reading Month website for more details.
