If you love British Crime fiction and can’t get to the events that you see advertised, you can attend one this weekend from the comfort of your own sitting room courtesy of BritCrime. BritCrime is a new online festival taking place on Facebook from 11th-13th July, where readers can drop in and talk to writers and what’s more IT’S FREE!
There are 40 authors taking part in two hour panels from Saturday through to Monday, plus lots of other places to hang out and talk crime fiction with others. You can sign up here. Whether you have a preference for Domestic Noir, Murder Mysteries or Thrillers, to name but a few, there’s something for everyone on the full programme here.
I’m delighted to be joining Rebecca Bradley, Steven Dunne and Craig Robertson to kick off the first panel entitled Serial Killer Thrillers from 12-2.00pm on Saturday. Questions can be listed in advance, so if you have anything you would like to ask us follow the link here and post them in the ‘comments’ beneath the pinned post. We will answer them when the panel goes live on Saturday.
This festival is the brainchild of the talented author, Helen Smith, who has worked tirelessly over the past couple of months to make it a fabulously unique experience. So don’t miss out. Come along and join us for a weekend of crime fiction chat, fun and mayhem!
