An Update

Many of you will be aware that I’ve been taking some time out recently due to family illness. This will be continuing a while longer, however I do have some book related news and some lovely posts coming up on the blog, so I’m just popping in today with a quick update.

New Books Out

First, there are some brilliant new books coming out over the next few weeks and I’m lucky to have interviews with the talented authors of all the above to share with you. Aren’t they great covers? Look out for the first interview with Rebecca Bradley, author of Made To Be Broken, which will be up later this week.

Beneath the Ashes

We are nearing the end of the publication process for Beneath the Ashes in readiness for its release on 1st November and very shortly proof copies will be available for reviewers. I’m going back to my roots with this novel, the second in the DI Will Jackman series, which is an old fashioned whodunnit, set in and around the beautiful Stratford upon Avon. You can read more about the book here. Feedback from early readers has been great and I’m really looking forward to sharing it with you.

Over the coming months, I’ll be looking to set up a blog tour to celebrate its release. If you are a reviewer or book blogger, and would like a review copy or perhaps to host a piece as part of a blog tour, do get in touch with me via the contacts page here.

I am also aiming to share an excerpt of the new book in my newsletter, prior to release, so if you want a sneak peek and a chance to win an early signed copy, do subscribe to my newsletter.

The Lies Within

The blurb for The Lies Within, my next book (due for publication in 2017), has now been signed off with my publisher. It was a strange experience, working on a blurb when I’m only half way through the book, a bit like touching the finishing line before you’ve run the race, but I’m learning that this is publishing and I have to be flexible to fit within requisite timetables. Luckily I am working to a very detailed outline on this one, so it wasn’t too difficult! I look forward to sharing it with you when it’s available.

Thank You

Reviews continue to come in for all my books and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has taken the time to post one.  The Truth Will Out is inching ahead with 93 reviews on Amazon at the moment. Will it be my first book to make 100 reviews? Time will tell, but suffice to say I’m grateful to everyone for all their support.
