These past few months I have been involved in copyedits, proofing, choosing the lovely cover art you see today, formatting… But I’m delighted to be able to report that I’ve managed to brave Amazon’s admin (and not crashed it in the process which is a minor miracle, believe me) and uploaded the all new ebook version of An Unfamiliar Murder to Kindle for pre-order.
The paperback will follow, although proving a little more tricky and may just be available to order from the release date of 1st March. We’ll see.
This was my first book, originally published in the US, and it’s almost four years to the day that this title was originally released, so it feels very special to be able to share the ‘all new’ version again. Review copies have been sent out and early indications are that people are still enjoying the story second time around, which is lovely to see.
If you missed my previous posts, here’s a blurb taster for you:
Arriving home from a routine day at work, Anna Cottrell has no idea that her life is about to change forever. But discovering the stabbed body of a stranger in her flat, then becoming prime suspect in a murder inquiry is only the beginning. Her persistent claims of innocence start to crumble when new evidence links her irrevocably with the victim…
Leading her first murder investigation, DCI Helen Lavery unravels a trail of deception, family secrets and betrayal. When people close to the Cottrell family start to disappear, Lavery is forced into a race against time. Can she catch the killer before he executes his ultimate victim?
You can pre-order An Unfamiliar Murder here.
Huge thanks go to all the lovely readers, writers, reviewers and book bloggers who have supported me in my first attempt at self publishing. It’s been quite an experience!
