One of the nicest things about being on this writing journey is celebrating the achievements and successes of friends. I met Susi (SJI) Holliday three years ago when I first joined the social media community. For some years now she has been a prolific short story author, however today sees the launch of her debut novel, Black Wood, and it was lovely to be able to join her at Waterstones, Chiswick last night to celebrate her new release.
Susi was in conversation with fellow author Martyn Waites, where she talked about her inspiration for writing the book, her crime writing career and her writing life. A wonderful evening was had by all and it was great to meet friends, old and new. Here it is in pictures (As always, please excuse my photography.):
This post is written with huge thanks to my dear friend Ian Robinson for driving the London stretch last night, which is always a challenge.
