I’ve been sitting on this news for some time, so it’s wonderful to be able to share with you today that I have signed a contract with Legend Press for a new book for next year!
Beneath The Ashes is the second in the DI Will Jackman series, also set in and around the lovely Stratford upon Avon, and here we see new developments in Will’s life as he faces the biggest challenge in his career to date. That’s all I’m saying for the moment! Of course, the usual suspects of Davies and Erik are in the mix too. Here is the blurb:
The floor felt hard beneath her face. Nancy opened her eyes. Blinked several times. A pain seared through her head. She could feel fluid. No. She was lying in fluid.
When a body is discovered in a burnt-out barn in the Warwickshire countryside, DI Will Jackman is called to investigate.
Nancy Faraday wakes up on the kitchen floor. The house had been broken into and her boyfriend is missing. As the case unravels, DI Jackman realises that nothing is quite as it appears and everyone, it seems, has a secret.
Can he discover the truth behind the body in the fire, and track down the killer before Nancy becomes the next victim?
Beneath The Ashes will be released by Legend Press in Autumn 2016. I look forward to sharing the cover art with you as soon as it is available.
I will also be re-releasing my debut, An Unfamiliar Murder, in March and look forward to sharing more information on that with you soon. In the meantime, if you missed Before It’s Too Late and would like to get a taste of DI Will Jackman, it’s available here.
I’d like to extend a huge thanks to everyone who has supported my writing career to date. I can hardly believe I’m going to do it all over again with a new book. Whoohoo!
