A Cold, Cover, Website & Giggly Interview

Just a quick post from me this week as I’m battling with a cold virus and a strong course of antibiotics that make me want to sleep permanently. However, I do have a treat for you later in the week when Llorelai MacLeod will share her recent trip to Norway with us – a lovely piece of armchair travel to spice up those dark evenings!

In the meantime, thank you all for the lovely messages on Facebook, Twitter, Email and the blog about the book cover for The Truth Will Out. Although I can’t claim any of the credit, this was down to a detailed publisher’s brief and great inspiration from the cover designer, I absolutely love it and it makes it more special to know that you do too.

This past week, I’ve taken some time out to have my website updated to include the new book. It feels great to see it sit alongside An Unfamiliar Murder and makes the launch feel all the more real. April can’t come soon enough! Do take some time to peruse around the site. You can read the all important new blurb to The Truth Will Out here.

In other news I participated in a lighthearted and silly interview on Johnny Worthen’s Blog Mansion with the other authors of the recent anthology, Through the Eyes of a Storm. If you fancy a giggle, you can read the interview piece here.

OK, that’s all folks. I’m off to nurse my cold and hopefully will bounce back next week in my usual lively fashion. I hope you all have a fantabulous week.

  1. I absolutely love the new cover. It’s atmospheric. Brilliant. Prefect for a crime novel. Perfect for your crime novel! 🙂

I can’t wait for release date. An exciting time for you.

    Feel better soon xx

  2. Great book cover! When the cold bug hits, I have an electric heat pad I trap between my back and the chair. No guarantees. All of our remedies are probably for naught since it is a virus. Prayer–now that may work, especially from friends.

    • Hi JD! Great to hear from you. Glad you like the cover. And thanks so much for your kind wishes, they are much appreciated. I have a wheat bag I can heat up in the microwave – might try that. Thanks again. Jx
